Lunar Sea Spire episode 39: #StevenBomb3

PodcastTitleStevenBomb3GC13 and Dakota blast off at the speed of light to recap #StevenBomb3. It wasn’t the heavy face-punch of plot that was the first #StevenBomb, but it was still a good run, wouldn’t you say?

The way the episodes fit together is discussed (this is definitely a five-episode story arc), as is Peridot’s propensity for escape (though there’s no consensus on which of her two escapes inĀ Friend Ship was more believable).

Keystone Motel makes us realize just how little we know about the homeworld Gems: while we no longer believe Ruby and Sapphire to be artisans, it’s hard making educated guesses about what their actual roles are. Ruby does seem to be quite a bit more “expendable” than Sapphire though, with the temperament of a fighter.

Damm, i should have awaited for the podcast to end.

Maybe all the cast stuff, Saphire being high citizen and Ruby a hobo or something, is like those Caste System in Indian culture, remember Opal and all Connie familly stuff, maybe it is a reference?

I think that the Gem Fusion was Rose and Amethyst because of the color of the hand that was made as a prop. Surely Pearl was detailed enough to mention what “Amethyst Quartz” actually looked like. Amethyst plus Garnet made a HUGE fusion, so maybe Amethyst fusions act as Amethyst as she is supposed to look, around the size of Jasper.
