FOUL!
Sorry for shouting, but we said we’d do it.
Well… That happened. This makes it much less likely for Peridot to join the team (unfortunately, though there’s still a glimmer of hope). We did get a very handy explanation of how the Kindergarten works though (mostly just things we already figured out for ourselves being made explicit), and a bit more fusion talk. A good episode for lore.

OMG those poor gems. Garnet said they were Crystal Gems, others that fought alongside Earth. It seems like Ruby and Sapphire started to argue about it, and Rose Quartz was looking for them. Forced fusion though, that’s just wrong. That’s some Human Centipeedle (lol) stuff right there. D:
Glad you kept your promise.
Right now, the only possible way for Peridot to join the team is if Steven can somehow convince her that what Homeworld is doing is….um……not a good thing? Who knows how that will happen.
And what’s happening with those effed up fusions makes me quite concerned for the future. I think I can see what the Homeworld could be working on.
And here’s a dumb question: what exactly was Peridot doing? Did she continue making those fusions, or was it something else? I’m still fuzzy on that.
Wait, wait, never mind. I don’t need clarification.
Yeah, at this rate, not sure if Peridot is gonna join the Gems.
Well, it looks like Peridot’s log date was 6-5-2. Her log date in warp tour was 3-1-2. I wonder how the calendar works for the home world.
People are drawing parallels with Dr. Mengele here. I really want to see your thoughts on that.

Garnet definitely considers the project to be sick. As a fusion she would be particularly sensitive to that kind of violation.
I know this has nothing to do with the episode, but I was looking around at Bismuth information.
Bismuth is a component (a major component) in stuff called “Rose’s Metal” which is used in soldering. So Bismuth literally IS Rose’s Metal.
He’s gonna be great, I can tell.
The comparison with ‘Enigma of Amigara Fault’ is brought up again. “This is punishment for the rebellion'”, and if i remember correctly in the manga it said something like “I dreamed I was forced to go into the ground for a terrible crime I had committed long ago in a past life”.
Great catch!
Yo, I think “We need to talk” was just accidentally released on iTunes.
It was definitely released on iTunes. I just watched it.
OMG I just saw it!
I just watched it and now it’s gonna be hard to focus the rest of the work day lol
