Immediate reaction to Shirt Club

Well, there’s not much lore here (a smidgen, but… Well, that means not much), since it’s a very character-centric episode again. We don’t think there will be much lore or speculation to be had, but if we focused on the characters instead we’d be really happy with what we learned about Buck. Heck, even Mayor Dewey had some good moments. If this had aired before Political Power, the sudden focus on him might not have seemed so abrupt.

Yeah, that was in Secret Team too. Since it’s probably not Ruby, it must be Pizza Mother.

What lore was there in this? Also, why were the Gems putting together furniture?

“I’m a taste maker, and I’m gonna keep on making tastes.”

I kind of don’t like Buck’s character, I’m sure he’ll mature in the future, but he’s kind of short-sighted.

Also, did you also love Steven’s “assassination attempt” on Mayor Dewey? XD

The lore was very subtle: all I was able to see were the possibilities that the Crystal Gems came up with when Steven confronted them with the possibility of a t-shirt-related crisis. That kind of stuff would take heftier magic than we get to see the show use, usually.

Also, you’re darn right I loved Steven with the t-shirt cannon! Lone Gunman Steven is Best Steven.
