Alright, we’ve taken care of the more traditional lore implications. Now it’s time to get weird: what might Future Vision have to say about the future of the series?
Decoding Garnet’s future vision
Tomorrow we have… Well, a bit of speculating to do. Today is about the hard stuff, though: what we know. We don’t think it’s a spoiler to say that Future Vision answered some questions about Garnet’s precognitive powers, so it’s time to take those answers and examine the implications more closely.
Immediate reaction to Future Vision
Future Vision certainly didn’t disappoint when it comes to how Garnet’s perception of the future works. We should certainly be able to tease out a fair bit about it. Look forward to it on Saturday! Then the Speculating can start on Sunday. 🙂
What to expect from Future Vision
This one’s a tough one to make predictions for… Unlike Garnet, we can’t see the future.
Still, we can make an educated guess about Garnet’s future vision: it can’t be all that good. Using just Warp Tour as an example, it wasn’t enough to see Steven’s death in the warp more than a minute before it happened and it certainly wasn’t good enough to see Peridot coming.
She has heightened perception, so hopefully we’ll also hear a bit about that. The question on everyone’s mind though, that we rather doubt we’ll get an answer to: what’s up with Garnet’s third eye?

What could The Test mean?
Rare is the Steven Universe episode that doesn’t try to sneak at least some little nugget of wisdom past us, and The Test isn’t about to break with tradition. We learned a fair bit from the episode, but there are also the more subtle hints that require a bit of teasing out and more time to see how accurate they turn out to be.
