Yesterday at about five o’clock Eastern time Cartoon Network posted a video. Featuring Ms. Sugar and Mr. Jones-Quartey, it was a short two-minutes-and-change podcast episode about cartooning with added video of the speakers and some background footage of their respective cartoons.
As you no doubt are either already aware or have already guessed, some of the Steven Universe footage was from unaired episodes. Most of the clips were fairly mundane if intriguing.
Except there was one clip. Oh one short clip to drive the fandom mad.
If you haven’t seen it, the relevant section that features the oh-so-juicy clip is available on Reddit. Just be warned that this clip is almost certainly from at or around the season finale (if there’s something even more consequential than this to round up the season, then hold on to your hat).
You can surely expect a podcast episode from us speculating about what this clip means, but we will be waiting to do that until our May 21st episode (assuming, of course, that we do not get more weekly episodes after Can’t Go Back and A Single Pale Rose).
If you aren’t aware of what’s in the spoilers yet and want to know, you can watch the clip. If you don’t want to be spoiled, however… Be careful, and be strong. There will be lots of people discussing it, and not everyone will be engaging in as strict spoiler discipline as we will be on the Lunar Sea Spire.
